Roxie Workshop, 1/21/12 2PM

I loved this paper when I first saw it last July, and I finally was able to play with it today! I usually use the Workshop on the Go for my scrapbooking workshop, but for Roxie I decided to use stamp sets I already have and just use the paper pack. I used the stamp sets B1369 Rosy Regards, the December Stamp of the Month Mad about You S1112, and I will use the C1474 10 Things for my titles once I chose my pictures to go with the layouts. For embellishments I cut shapes on my cricut to match the Mad about You set, the bling assortment Z1466 and black waxy flax. I added 1/2 a 12x12 sheet of colonial white for the embellishments, plus 6 more sheets of colonial white for bases. I also added 2 sheets of desert sand.

The cost of the workshop is $9.95 for the paper pack. You will be able to use my stamp sets at the workshop or at crops. You can also add additional embellishments if you desire. I am placing an order on 1/1 or I can send you information to order online. It will be a lot of fun and I hope to see you on 1/21!

Elemental Scrapbooking Workshop, 1/14/12 2-5PM

I'm really early in posting about this workshop, but better early than late, right? :) I loved working with this paper and the stamp sets and embellishments with it. The stamp sets are so versatile, I know I will definitely use them again, especially the one in the Workshop on the Go! If you participate in this workshop, we will make the WOTG layout (first layout) at the workshop and you will receive cutting guides for the four additional layouts along with color pictures so you can complete them on your own later. Or come back to a crop to finish the other layouts!

Since this workshop uses the cricut and a lot of new techniques, it will take the entire time to make this layout. You will learn how to use the cricut to accompany the layouts, stamp images cut from the cricut, and color and make the rolled roses. I loved this workshop and I am sure you will too! Please let me know by 12/23 if you are interested in participating.

I've been all about quick and easy layouts recently, trying to catch up on my scrapping! This is a really quick layout I did of pictures from last fall. It came together so quickly using an Imagine layout and some coordinating embellishments. And have I mentioned how much I absolutely love this cork alphabet set??? They are so quick and easy, add texture and look cool, and they go a long way for only $5.95!

Wonderland Workshop, 12/10 2-5PM

This paper is so perfect for snowy, winter layouts, or for cards. I made this workshop using the workshop on the go and the embellishments included in it and added 5 more layouts! When you participate in this workshop, you will receive a printout with cutting guides and color pictures of these layouts. We will complete the WOTG layout in the workshop and then depending on how fast you work, you may get the bases of these pages completed. Then you can come back to crop and use my cricut and snowflakes stamps to embellish if you need to! Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

This is a card I made a while ago, but wanted to wait until after I gave it to post then I forgot. I cut everything from the new cricut cartridge and I was really excited about how well it turned out! I love the 3-d flowers we can cut and then roll. They add so much dimension!

I have to be honest, when I saw this paper in the new Idea Book, I wasn't crazy about it. But then when I saw it in person it grew on me. Then I ordered the Believe Workshop on the Go and once I started playing with it, I love it! The colors are so bright and cheery and went so well with my playful Christmas pictures. I also can't believe how much I've made from the pack - 3 2-page layouts and the Advent Calendar! And I still have some scraps left!

Believe Workshop on the Go 11/12

We will make this layout at the workshop on 11/12. If you look at this layout in the Idea Book, you will see I changed it up quite a bit. I used different sides of the patterned paper and different color of cardstock. I thought it went with these pictures perfectly! I will use the rest of my paper for the advent calendar and hope to post it before the weekend is over. Sonoma Layout

This is one of the Sonoma layouts we made at the Sonoma workshop a couple weeks ago. At that time I did not have pictures or embellishments on it. I decided to use it for some snow pictures I had from 2010 instead of heritage type pictures that were shown in the Idea Book. I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut the snow flakes from Petal and Kraft cardstock and used the Bronze glitter gel and bling buttons to embellish. (alphas are not CTMH) Love the way this turned out!!

"Typeset" Scrapbooking Workshop, 9/24

These pictures aren't great, but they do give you an idea of what we will make at the Typeset workshop on 9/24. There are so many fun techniques to learn at this one! Dimensional stars, pearl paint, I used the spray pen with the pearl paint, and the cool new embellies! Please let me know if you are interested in this workshop.

I decided to try to come up with alternative ways to use this month's Stamp of the Month set, Wicked. I'm not a big Halloween fan, but I have to say this is one of the cuter Halloween sets I've seen. I loved the background stamp and used it with some of the colors of the new "Dreamin" paper - Pacifica, Goldrush, and Chocolate. I made the Pacifica flower using the new CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge! So easy and it's cute too!! The Stamp of the Month set is $17.95 or $5 with a $50 purchase. You can see the set here.

"Mischief" Scrapbook Workshop Layouts + Banner!

This workshop will be Saturday, September 10th. We will make the Workshop on the go layout, and the additional layout. If you would like to make the banner too, you can purchase the My Creations banner in addition to the Workshop on the Go and I will provide the materials to make the "Autumn" side of the banner for free! We will complete this project after the scrapbook layouts.

I love the WOTG layout, and with the additional layout I made it more of a fall layout instead of Halloween by using different sides of the paper and adding the Compliments rub-ons that are so cute! Card Workshop 6/25

Come and learn how to make this really cute card box and card set on Saturday, June 25th at 2:00PM. We will use random stamping on the box and cards, and you will learn how to use the Martha Stewart score board to not only make the box but also to score cardstock and sand it to add interest. Cost of the workshop is $7 and includes all supplies. Please bring scor tape, heavy adhesive or glue dots if you have them. These help to make the box stronger. Hope to see you then!

These are the Mother's Day cards I made for my grandmothers this year. I used the Sophia paper pack and a Wishes pattern. The carnation is made using the scallop circle punch and blush cardstock. I hope they like them!

I didn't think I would like this paper, but once I started using it I couldn't stop! It went well with my Lake Powell pictures and the pop of pink is just enough to brighten the greens and browns. The workshop using this paper is coming up in June.

I just received the new token alphabet stamp set today and couldn't wait to finish this layout. This is the Mayberry workshop on the go, which I adjusted a bit for my pictures. This workshop is scheduled for 6/11. This paper is so cute and I love the stamp set in the workshop kit, I just didn't use it much on my layout. I will post other pictures using it in the next few months.

Canvas Wall Hanging

I've had this picture of my cousin's daughter for almost 7 years now and never knew what to do with it since it was a strange size. She was a flower girl at our wedding and the photographers took several pictures of her because she was so adorable. I used a plain canvas, painted it with pearl paint mixed with a few colors, and the retired Emporium papers. I made the carnations from colonial white cardstock, the scalloped circle punch, and a spray pen. Aren't they awesome? They look so real - I learned about them from a fellow consultant. I also made the roses from the Emporium b&t paper. I added a few leaves that I free-handed, and some "twirlies" that I made from cardstock. The letters are the cool new irresistible letters in the Spring/Summer Idea Book. I'm so happy with the way it turned out and I hope you enjoy seeing it! Look for a class on flowers soon, so you can learn how to make these too!

I was so inspired by the new Easter products in the new Idea Book! The Sophia paper is so perfect for Spring and I absolutely love the new $7.95 stamp set, A Hop A1112, so I designed these three cards for the card workshop. You will learn how to use liquid applique and use a blender pen to color in stamped images. I've decided to change the format of the workshops that I offer. I will still offer the Workshop on the Go, but I will also offer an option to participate for $15. This includes a Level 2 paper packet and the additional cardstock to complete 8layouts. You must pay for the workshop in advance so I can order the supplies, but you can wait until the day of the workshop to order any embellishments you may want to use with your layouts. I am really excited about this and hope you will like this too! Now for the pictures!

Miracle Workshop on the Go Cards - I only made two of these and adjusted them a bit. I love this Workshop on the Go - the pinwheel stamps are awesome and I can't believe how many kraft color borders come in the package! They are so fun to play with - you can leave them as they are, or you can ink them, thread paper through them, etc.!

Miracle WOTG Pages - I forgot to take pictures of these pages before I framed them, so I apologize for the glare. I changed these around a bit too and I love the way they turned out. I made the pages first and when I asked my husband what pictures I should use, he suggested some of Koko, our youngest dog. These pictures of her last spring are truly pure joy!

A Quick Level 2 Layout!

It's been a while since I posted, so I thought I would share this layout I completed the other night. I've still been working on scrapping our trip to California in the fall of 2009. With everything else that I've had going on - craft shows, Christmas presents, and Christmas cards - it's been hard to get it done! I made this 2 page layout in about 30 minutes the other evening and I love the way it turned out. I thought the Olivia paper complemented the colors in our sunset photos perfectly!

New - My Creations Banner!

This is a great new product in the Spring/Summer 2011 Idea Book and is now available! I took this with me on my recent trip to Colorado with my mom and sister. They got so much scrapbooking done - me, not so much. I started working on this the last day and had a blast making this. I absolutely love the new spray pens that I used to spritz some color and glimmer on this project! These are also available in the new Idea Book that is availble February 1st. I will offer a workshop to make this in the near future, so watch for details!

Studio J Layouts

I just ordered a few Studio J layouts yesterday, so I thought I would share the jpeg images with you! I love how easy it is to use Studio J - easier than scanning and organizing your photos! I spent 5 hours yesterday scanning negatives to work on my Alaska pages and only an hour to an hour and a half to create these four gorgeous layouts. I would love to show you how easy it is to catch up on your scrapbooking!

Hooligans Level 2 Layout

This picture really doesn't do this layout justice since it is on my white desk, but it was the best I could do at the time. ;) I forgot how fun, easy, and fast Level 1 and Level 2 layouts are! I made one of each to display at the craft show. This one is a layout I made using the back of the Level 2 My Stickease as a guide. I blinged it up a bit with prisma glitter on one of the hooligan stickers and glitz glitter glue on the title. This layout took me less than 30 minutes and I think it's pretty cute! The only thing quicker and easier is Studio J.

Another great gift idea! This is a really cute mini album that is made just from cardstock and paper, but it has a lot of pop! You could even tuck a gift card inside to add to the gift. We will make the album using the Magnifique paper and the Unity and Heart to Heart stamp sets. The cost of the workshop is $6. Please bring adhesive, paper trimmer, and blocks with you if you have them.

Hooligans WOTG Cards - Sneak Peek!!

These are the cards from the new Hooligans WOTG. My sister put these together and we didn't realize when she started that they use a technique of applying glitter on the little monsters. There was glitter everywhere by the time Carrie was done, but her pages and cards turned out so cute and the glitter adds such a great sparkle to them too! We weren't crazy about the little monsters but they grew on us as she used them. They are too cute!

Mistletoe WOTG Sneak Peek!!!

This is another sneak peek of new products that will be available 9/1! This is the new Christmas paper and it is very traditional and gorgeous. As you will be able to tell when you see my pages compared to the guides and samples in the Idea Book, I don't always follow the photo sizes suggested. I usually scrap with 4x6 photos since they are cheaper to print, so I make the layouts work for me and I think they look great even using different size photos! Sneak Peek - new Olivia WOTG

This is a sneak peek of the new Olivia papers that will be available 9/1 in the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book. I saw a peek of these papers from the consultant convention in early July and waited to scrap these pictures until I received this paper because I thought this paper was made for these photos! And I have to brag that I was right!!! This paper is soooooo pretty and showcases the new colors smoothie, sunset, and pear. We will do this workshop on the go in September or October, so if you love this as much as I do, be on the lookout for more information on that coming soon!

Triple Play - 2010 Valentine's Day Book

I used the hollyhock mini album to document our trip to the Ozarks for Valentine's Day this year. Even though our pictures don't have a lot of "traditional Valentine's colors" in them, the colors in the album brighten up our gloomy winter pictures! I think it was cloudy and gloomy the whole time we were there in February!

Triple Play - Fall 2009 Book

This is the mini album using the new color sunset. Love the new color! These colors reminded me of some of the fall pictures of our dogs that I took last fall. I had to include at least one picture of my favorite maple tree in our yard too! It is gorgeous in the fall and on a hot day like this, I can't wait for it to cool off and the leaves to start changing!!!

Triple Play - Beach Book

I worked on the Triple Play mini-albums this weekend and finished all 3! It is A LOT of stamping, but a lot of fun too! It took me about 3 hours to make one, but the other two went together in an hour or two. And that includes adding the pictures. This the blue one that I used for our trip to the California beach last September.

Tickled Pink

These are the completed pages from the Tickled Pink special from 2009. I put the pages together on vacation in June and finally finished all of the stamping and embellishing! I love the final product with all of the pinks in it. I don't know what pictures to use yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something. For now they are hanging over my scrap area so I can enjoy them.

Last Cherry-O Layout

This is the last layout from my cousin's wedding using Cherry-O. Funny pictures that remind us of the great time we had that evening playing "Go Fish" with the littlest petshop cards. All items are CTMH, except for the thickers used for the title. Now I'm done with Cherry-O for a while!

Here's the latest Cherry-O layout. I wanted to include all these pictures and I think it's a bit busy, but it sure was fun to make with the Cherry-O WOTG. I added a cherry-O opaque and a flower and window charm, but everything else is from the WOTG packet. I think I have one more layout and then I will put this paper aside for awhile. :( I sure have made a lot with one paper pack!

This paper has been so much fun! Here is another layout from my cousin's wedding. I have another one in process, but I cannot get the pictures laid out just right so I thought I'd post this one then get some sleep. I love using the how-to books, but I hardly ever have the size photos called for in the pattern so I make them work. It's another way to be creative!

Cherry-O!!!

I have to admit I was not crazy about this paper when it came out in the Spring/Summer Idea Book. Other consultants were crazy about it and it seemed like all of the consultant artwork used this new paper. First I bought the Creative Basics paper and I absolutely love it! (We will use it in the card workshop on 7/31). Who can't love the pinks and browns together? When I was looking through my photos that I need to scrap, I realized my cousin's wedding from last September would be perfect with the Cherry-O paper! So I ordered the Workshop on the Go (WOTG) and Wow! Her colors were red and brown and they do look amazing with this paper. Here are pictures of the layout from the Workshop on the Go, which includes images stamped with the exclusive WOTG stamp set, as well as the additional project shown in the WOTG flyer. I changed the colors up a bit on this layout to better go with my photos. I love how these turned out and I think I may need another pack of this paper!! Please let me know if you are interested in this set - the WOTG is only available until the end of September!

Layouts from Last Year's CKC Class

These pictures are really blurry and I apologize for that. I would re-take pictures of them, but I had already put them in page protectors when I realized how bad these were! These were layouts my sister and I made in a class at CKC last year. We loved the class, but it seemed like a rip off to us - we only received the materials to make one side of each page and had to spend quite a bit more to get the materials for the other page! (And the sponsoring company had really high prices on everything!) I finished these at the send off crop at the end of CKC last October and just got around to adding the pictures and journaling. I love the way they turned out! I might even be a little sad we're not taking the same class this year, but I think we signed up for enough others that I won't be sad when it's over!

Last Year's 4th of July Pages

Here are the pages I made of last year's 4th of July using our Blue Ribbon Level 2 paper packet and the A size stamp set, Twinkle. This stamp set is only 7.95 and I was really impressed with everything I was able to do with it and how well it coordinates with the paper. I've never invested in other stamp sets for this season, but I wanted to try these lower priced ones to see how they were and I would highly recommend them!

These are the final pages of the Princess Party! I loved working with this paper pack - Daydreams - it is so cute and perfect for these pages. I love pink and girly looking paper and it usually isn't appropriate for the pictures, but it looks like it was made for these photos. I forgot to take pictures of this layout before putting it in the page protectors, so I apologize for the photo quality (and my feet in the picture!)

Princess Party Pages - Daydreams Paper Pack

These pictures are from almost a year ago when Kaylee came to stay with us for a week. She is my cousin's daughter and we had so much fun having her with us! These pages show what happens when she has too much sugar - things get a little crazy. All of the products used on these pages are CTMH, except for the tags. I used the Daydreams Level 2 paper pack and a layout from the Cherish book. Happy creating!

Passages WOTG

I wasn't sure about this paper at first, but then I thought it would be perfect for our trip to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest last September. Now I absolutely love it! I found the pattern for this card from other CTMH consultants right before I left for vacation. (The order of these is backwards.) The first card I made for my grandmother for her birthday using the Bella level 2 paper. The second card I made for my husband for our anniversary and I used scraps from the Tickled Pink paper pack. It was another limited time only paper from last year. The last card I made for my aunt for her birthday and also used Tickled Pink scraps. These cards make a huge impact and are not too difficult to make. Contact me if you would like to learn how to make them!

Splendor Card Workshop

I made 20 cards the last 2 days! I used the Just Because card workshop in the Wishes book, which used 4 pieces of cardstock and 2 B&T papers. I also used the stamp set from the Splendor Workshop on the Go, the Over the Rainbow stamp set, and the March stamp of the month set. The pictures aren't great since I'm on vacation, but they give the general idea. It's amazing what just 6 pieces of paper and bulk cards turned into!

Topstitch Workshop on the Go

It's been a while since I posted anything and I only have a couple of pictures to post tonight. This is the Topstitch WOTG layout that I did a couple weeks ago. I love this paper set, and I especially love the stamp set in the WOTG. These colors are so versatile, this paper can be used for anything - including funny pictures of my sister with the elk!

Sneak Peak! Splendor Workshop on the Go and Clear Card

These are pictures of one of the new paper collections in the Summer Idea Book that is available May 1st. I adjusted the WOTG layout a bit to utilize my pictures better and I love how it turned out. I love this stamp set and the paper pack! The card is one of the new clear cards in the Summer Idea Book. It's challenging to use these at first, but they turn out beautiful and are so original. I also used the new irresistibles and glitz glitter glue. I will definitely be using all of these products more, so check back for more pictures!!

Finally!!! I have pictures of all of the projects I've completed the last couple of months to post. This first group of photos is of the scrapbook layouts and cards I made from the Veranda workshop on the go. At first I wasn't sure about this set, but I found it to be so versatile. I was able to make some more feminine/romantic layouts about our anniversary, but it also made great fishing layouts too! This set is available through the end of May with the stamp set exclusive to the workshop on the go.

Open House and Studio J!!!!

I am so excited to show new products from the Summer Idea Book at my Open House next Saturday on National Scrapbooking Day! Studio J will launch on Tuesday!! I am so excited about this - I have several layouts I created using Studio J and I have to say it is the best digital scrapbooking product I've seen. I will have sample layouts at the Open House and a demo of how easy it is to use. Be sure to check it out!!
